Seeds are the critical agri-input on which hinges the performance of all other inputs. The recent agricultural growth has been spurred by the seeds, of improved varieties and hybrids. Through advances in biotechnology, seeds have shown great potential in increasing yields, reducing costs and improving quality of produce. Years of intensive technology upgradation has perfected India and world's seed potential to feed a rapidly multiplying population. Seeds have consistently influenced the course of global food security.

To discuss the policy, trade, technology, and investments perspectives to exploit the potential of seeds sector towards sustainable agricultural growth and achieving global food security.
